Slow-Cooked Short Ribs

I used this recipe to cook short ribs for the first time and it was a complete hit. The entire family loved it. I did leave out the flour and next time, I'll use less beef broth. But it was extremely tasty.

Spanish Flan

This was simple and it was a hit. very easy! The 2nd time I made the flan I toasted some coconut and sprinkled it on the sugar before throwing in the custard to bake. The coconut version was very good. I did add some vanilla essence to cut the rankness of the egg.

Sylvia's Ribs

Made these ribs today - OMG! They were so tender and so delicious. It's one of favs now. I did put the ribs in the slow cooker about 11:30PM the night before for 8 hrs LOW. I also added some guava paste to my bbq sauce and it was delicioussss! Great recipe.

Deviled Eggs II

Add about 1/4 of cheddar cheese, 2 tbsps of cream cheese and a pinch of hot pepper and see what this does to this recipe... truly kicks it up a few notches.

Artichoke Chicken Casserole

This was delicious... it turned out way better than I ever imagined. I did add crispy french onions on the top and I think it added great taste and texture to this dish. The family loved it.

Turned out great in terms of taste. The jasmine rice was a bit problematic for me though. So, I'll use another type of rice I'm a bit more familiar with.

Peking Duck

very good recipe. I actually used a roasting rack with a little less than 1/4 inch of water in the bottom, covered the duck with foil without it touching the duck. baked slow. then remove foil for color.
