Home Made Mayonnaise

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2010
5 stars for: Dependable and Delicious! It has a great taste and thickened perfectly! I needed mayo for some open-faced sandwiches so did this quick fix! I added lots of pepper-different kinds and I'm sure it could be dressed up with other spices. Thanks for the recipe!

Danish Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2010
DE-li-cious! Thank you! Quite the crumbly little cookie and next time I will make it smaller (more bite size). I read your comment about making them small and did, but not small enough apparently. Wonderful, though. Thanks!

Garlic Butter Sauce I

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2010
I give it 4 stars because I changed it some. I didn't have fresh garlic so I used ready-to-use minced garlic-probably about 1/2 T. I used 1/4 C butter, 1/2 tsp Parsley, 2 tsp Oregano, 1 tsp Basil. I had a cooked chicken from Costco and wanted to use some of it up, so I took some slices, chopped them up, and added them into the sauce. letting them sizzle and soak it all up. Then, I put that over the noodles. Yum! Thanks for the start up on it! (:

Lighter Snickerdoodles

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2010
These turned out fabulously! I put about 3/4 C of butter and a little less than 4 oz of cream cheese in. I didn't measure to the exact and they still turned out. On one batch I cooked longer than 10; for a minute and 50 seconds longer, just to see if longer was better. Ends up, 10 minutes is just perfect. The cookie is light, soft, and a bit moist. (the others are still yummy. They will be eaten, but a bit dryer). Thank you for the recipe!

Guacamole

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2010
I was only making this for a party of two, so reduced the measures to 1 1/2 avocado. I changed a few other things, like subbing in different tomatoes because they are what I had. But either way, this recipe is fantastically delicious; quite the zesty flavor.

Guyanese Lime Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2010
Deliciously different and.. have spunk! Don't cook for the full time if you don't want a little bit of a crunch (you want a more chewy cookie). They are thin and flavorful. The flavor is very good, not too much. My dad made the comment 'they aren't too much but the flavor is so full that one is probably perfect'. I did add more lime juice though, so that probably adds into it. Only other thing is that I came out with leftover sugar mix, so if you're baking these, reduce the measurements. Thanks for the recipe, Valima!
