Homefried Potatoes with Garlic and Bacon

The lady is right - you have to boil the potatoes first and slice - I would suggest that you cook the bacon and then discard the grease - wash the pan and then fry in the butter and garlic until the poatates just start to get a little golden and then add the onions and bacon - peppers sounds like a great addition and some mushrooms wouldn't hurt along with some parsley or basil and cool until the potatoes are a nice golden colours just a little crispy on one side
