Coquito

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2010
Wonderful!!! My fiance's mom and stepdad (both from Puerto Rico) loved it and said that it tasted just like they had at home! I substituted pumpkin pie spice for the ground cloves and also added a little extra rum!

Creamy Coconut Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2010
I have been making this recipe for years and my fiance swears it's his favorite cake (he doesn't usually like cake!). However, I use butter recipe yellow cake mix instead of the white cake mix and thawed frozen coconut instead of flaked. It's wonderful!!!

These were really good! I added peanut butter chips to the batter and it made them even better!

Chocolate Brittle Surprise

Loved these, I've made them a few times and they're great. They also froze beautifully. I only wish they were easier to get off the foil!

Magic Cookie Bars II

These are absolutely wonderful, and just could not be easier. I've made them 4 times in the past few months. I've used almonds and pecans, and each time they're delicious!!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2010
Fantastic. Followed the recipe exactly. Mine took longer to bake than I expected, but that could have been my oven or the size of my cookies. Took them to work and had rave reviews.

Salmon with Brown Sugar Glaze

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2010
Delicious! I took the advice of a couple reviewers and added a little bit of sweet hot mustard and a splash of soy sauce, and my fiance raved about it. I also baked it at 400 for 18 minutes, but I'm sure it would be delicious broiled as well. Thank you Tamara!
