Pumpkin Muffins II

These came out great! I used canned pumpkin and 2c flour 1c oats. Also 1c white sugar and only 1/4c brown sugar was enough.

Gingerbread Boys

These cookies turned out pretty well! The only thing is, they didn't really turn out to be gingerbread. They tasted like orange cookies with a hint of cinnamon. I think they need a stronger "gingerbread" flavor. As a cookie they taste great, however this isn't a gingerbread cookie.

Red Velvet Cupcakes

This was excellent! I would change nothing however, my cupcakes didn't bake as red as the batter was which was a disappointment. They came out a more "dried blood" color.

French Butter Cakes (Madeleines)

Simply wonderful! I love the lemon zest it really gave it a burst of flavor. As an inexperienced Madeleine maker this recipe was extremely easy and uncomplicated. I cooked them in a 3" silicone Madeleine mold that made six. This is a recipe worth trying!!!

Easy Sugar Cookies

My dough came out crumbly and dry. A bit disappointed I turned it into shortbread. It tasted great. It's a better recipe for short bread than sugar cookies.
