Blueberry Scones

LOVE this recipe! I used 1/2 cup of brown sugar instead of 1/4, a little bit of vanilla extract and the scones were delicious! They did not last the evening between my household of 4 :)

Cookie Dough for Ice Cream (Eggless)

Cookie dough that doesn't have any raw egg in it so I can eat it guiltlessly (ok, I admit the waistline is feelin guilt ;)) was worth a second try as I tried this recipe 'as is' the first time and thought it was bland and not worth the calories. I made this again I used these suggestions as posted by giggletush: 5 TBS BROWN SUGAR, 6 TBS SUGAR, 4 TBS BUTTER SOFTENED, 1 TEAS VANILLA, 3 TBS WHOLE MILK, 1 CUP FLOUR, 1/2 TEAS SALT, 1/2 CUP MINI CHOC CHIPS. And that, my friends, is a recipe dangerously good:)

Four Egg Yellow Cake

Thank you for this recipe! This was only my second cake I've ever made from scratch. I doubled it and made a 3 tier cake for my daughters first birthday! (see pic :) I did use butter instead of shortening, maybe added a little extra vanilla, but that was all and it was delicious! We all loved it and even my husband who doesn't like cake very much thought it was great. Was worth the effort to make it, because it was so much better than a store bought cake!
