It was outstanding and my kids loved it! The only things I altered was adding shredded cheddar cheese and I did not use pecans. Delicious!

Tomato Bisque I

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2014
Amazing! I made minor excellent changes. I put olive oil in heated pot with half of a minced garlic clove before adding canned whole tomatoes. I also added 3/4 cup of "minor's" chicken broth and added fresh basil to heavy cream and half and half cream.

This was so delicious with a perfect kick! My entire family couldn't get enough. I do use a secret chicken broth called Minors. It makes all the difference!

Garlic Mushroom Pasta

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2012
I modified this quite a bit. I used a pasta called Fusillini which has zucchini and spinach in it. I had to use more olive oil and also added butter together because if not, it would have been much more dry. I chopped the onion finely and also added more grated cheese and parsley for garnish. While I drained the pasta I added the scrambled egg in the pot that I used for the pasta with the flame off and it cooked very nice and light. Immediately after that, I added the pasta and remaining ingredients. lMuch better after that.

These were the best cookies I ever made! My German mother in law asked me to find them at a bakery. I did better and made them myself! She said they were the best she ever had.... I didn't even get a chance to take a picture of them..... Kids ate them up too!

London Broil

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2011
Very Delicious! I marinated this for two days and cooked it on the stove on medium for about 15 minutes. When it was just slightly pink in the middle, I cut it up very very thin slices. The entire family loved it. I served it with garlic butter noodles and broccolli with olive oil and lemon.

Authentic German Potato Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2010
I made this for my German husband but doubled the sauce mixture and the turkey bacon. He absolutely went nuts. It was just a little too sweet for us so next time I will cut the sugar in half. Otherwise a very nice recipe.
