About this Cook
My name is Eric, and I grew up in Western NC eating very southern food. When I moved to Washington DC after College I branched out into more ethnic foods.. I love almost all types of food. My wife Kristie is also a great cook.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook BBQ, Cajun, Thai and other spicy foods. I also love to make southern favorites.. but can't make good southern biscuits to save my life.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Family tradition of making turkey on Thanksgiving. Lately I have branched out and have been deep frying our turkey!
My cooking triumphs
Deep Frying Turkey! Making my first Turducken! Cajun Meatloaf My own southern cornbread with a twist!
My cooking tragedies
Almost any type of Baking!

Quick Lemon Dijon Chicken
We really like the recipe but we customized the recipe heavily based on some other reviews. Substituted: - Whole Grain Mustard - Hot sauce instead of creole seasoning Added: - 1/2 onion cut into strips - 2 cloves of garlic diced - 1/2 can of pineapple chunks - Dash of soy sauce - Dash of Worcester sauce Served over whole grain spaghetti
