Buttermilk Coleslaw

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2013
Add 3 T. lemon juice, some cayenne, 1/2 c. minced sweet onion, and a bit of powdered garlic to make it more tangy, but that's just my taste. My favorite go-to coleslaw recipe now. I used a 3-pound bag of roughly cut coleslaw (as opposed to the very finely chopped kind) I bought from a large, national club store (Sam's) and the recipe was still very creamy and the slaw was well covered.

Tangy Grilled Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2013
We loved this. Cooked it on the grill after marinating nearly a day. Outside crusty by searing for awhile and inside was sweet and juicy. Served it with (God forbid) barbecue sauce and would do that again. Served it with great Buttermilk coleslaw recipe found on Allrecipes.com , which s now my standard coleslaw recipe.

The Best Thai Coconut Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2012
This recipe is a real keeper. I did add a bit more curry as the originator advised since we like everything hot and spicy. A must try!

Ground Venison Burgers

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2011
Excellent. The burgers were very juicey and I love the lime sauce (although some at the table had to add ketchup to the burger, out of habit I suppose). I used commercial, jar jalapenos and would opt for fresh next time for more flavor. Added a little lime juice to the meat mixture. Will also try with byson in the future and possibly with ground beef. Great taste for people leary about eating Bambi.

Mock Lobster

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2010
My family literally requests this recipe weekly; it's that good. Here's a sauce they prefer to the dipping butter (although, it's more caloric): add 1/2 stick butter to 2 T. mayo and 5 T. cream cheese. Add 1 t. cayenne pepper, 2 T. chilli powder, and 2 T. grated parmesean cheese. Microwave until softened.
