Supreme Strawberry Topping

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2011
Made this to go under some Angel's Food Cake tonight. AMAZING. It was sweet, but not too sweet, and absolutely delicious. Soooo easy, and so perfect. I followed the recipe exactly ~ and it was perfect.

Pizza Dough II

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2011
This was the first pizza crust I've made. It was delicious. Crispy on the bottom, and chewy on the inside. Just great. I was worried it wasn't going to stretch out to fit the pan, but it did. I added a little butter and parmesan to the top of the pizza and cooked it for 10 min at 350. Then added the toppings. Absolutely delicious!

Fried Cabbage II

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2011
This is one of my favorite breakfast/lunch dishes. I often fry a couple eggs and top the cabbage with eggs. It's great for those low carbers who can't have toast, but like something to soak up the yolk. :) I never put sugar or vinegar in mine... looking forward to trying it that way.

Frank's Favorite Slow-Cooker Thai Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2011
Delicious and easy. Made only a few changes, creamy pb and whole coconut milk. A little spicy but even the 4 year old didn't mention it was too hot. Thanks Frank!

Cumin Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2011
These burgers were absolutely delicious. I made the recipe just as it was (added a little cheddar cheese on the top) FANTASTIC. The flavor was wonderful, they were juicy. Even the 4 year old loved them. These will definitely go in the monthly rotation.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2010
This soup was DELICIOUS! I ended up using celery seed because we were out of celery. I also added some sharp cheddar to the milk mixture before adding it to the soup. It was absolutely delicious. This will be a well used recipe.

Gingerbread Men

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2010
I found it really hard to roll this dough. For some reason it just kept crumbling apart. It seemed to roll better as it got warmer in fact, which seems totally backwards. We did manage to get some gingerbread men done, and they tasted really good. The second half we just did drop cookies ~ haven't tasted them yet.

Kielbasa with Pasta

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2010
This was delicious. I was a little leery that there wouldn't be enough flavor, but it was great. I added a little red pepper flakes and a couple shakes of italian seasoning. Even the picky hubby thought it was great. He did suggest I add some shrimp to it next time, which I agree would be delicious!

Macaroni and Cheese III

This was so good, and so easy. I was a little hesitant about the tomato and spice choices, but it was a perfect harmony and delicious! A hit with the 4 year old too!

Crispy Rosemary Chicken and Fries

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2010
This dish was delicious and super simple. I cubed some acorn squash and threw it in as well. Worked great and was a great addition to this dish. It really does get nice and crispy if you baste it the last 10 minutes.

Cousin David's Slow Cooker Brisket

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2010
Maybe I got the wrong kind of "brisket" but this didn't turned out well. Not the flavor of the recipe ~ it was delicious and smelled wonderful all day. But when I bit into the meat it was chewy and filled with fat. I got what was marked as "brisket" at the store, but I think it was wrong. I was really looking forward to it because it smelled so wonderful all day long. *sigh*
