Chicken a la King II
This is a good basic recipe, and easily adapted to your tastes. Like many other reviewers, I too had to add a considerable additional amount of liquid to make it my desired sauce consistency. I added both milk and broth, as well as a splash of white wine. I used fresh mushrooms as in the original recipe, but also added about a cup of frozen green peas. Served over biscuits, delicious comfort food.

Cream Cheese Jalapeno Hamburgers
Grilled these for Memorial Day bbq. I made 6 burgers from 2 pounds of meat. The cream cheese mixture did not ooze out at all, I was careful to seal the edges. They were not as spicy as I was expecting, even with all the fresh jalapenos. It was very easy to chop the peppers in the food processor. I had more than half the cream cheese mixture left over, there was no way a pound of cream cheese was going to fit into 6 burgers. The burgers were moist, I served with sliced red onion and guacamole. By the way, I mixed some minced garlic and parmesean cheese into the left over cream cheese mixture, spread it on sourdough and baked at 400 for 10 minutes - very tasty! I will make these burgers again.
