About this Cook
I live in a small town called Lansford. It is all nestled in the foothills of the PA pocono mountains. Its safe to say that I am an intermediate cook. Not afraid to try!
My favorite things to cook
italian, good old family meals, (I come from a meat and potatoe family) I do enjoy baking once in awhile..but im not the best at it.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Love to just throw things together. Meaning I create as I go...sometimes good and not so good at times. But at least I try and try and try...
My cooking triumphs
Everyone looks for me to make BIG family meals. Heaven forbid if I ever decide not to make Thanksgiving dinner!!!
My cooking tragedies
Was trying to impress a gentleman I was dating at the time. Made a beautiful beef dish..that took me all day! It was perfect. Recipe called for this dish to be lighted when served...well need I say more..the tablecloth caught on fire. The dish was totally ruined...ended up with take out chinese!!

Cheesy Tuna Noodle Casserole
Simple recipe.... added a little melted butter to the breadcrumbs..not as dry on top. I prefer peas over the peppers and also added a can of cream of mushroom soup, and used some shredded sharp cheese.
