Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2011
This was the easiest and most amazing chicken dish. I was gloating the whole time that I made this sauce from scratch. I normally buy the teriyaki sauce, but not this time! I had people over and I tried this dish as soon as I received the email from allrecipes. It tasted like restaurant quality. My picky children loved the taste. The guests loved them and of course my husband did too. My family ate them the next day too and my daughter took a dish to her friend's house. I didn't change anything in the recipe or I would be rating my own! I only added a bit more of each ingredient as I did the whole leg cut up into two pieces each. That made 24 pieces. I didn't double the sauce, just a few tbsps more. I didn't find ginger powder so I used ginger paste, but past experience taught me to just put a tiny bit. So I used just as much as a pea size for the whole thing which didn't do much. I am telling you, try it and you will NOT regret it. My kids asked for it again for next weekend!

Easy Paella

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2011
I can't say it is amazing, it is good though. I didn't change much, I only removed the sausage. Put less chicken and shrimp and added the lemon juice of the lemon I zested. It felt like it could use some lemony taste. It looks very fancy!

Microwave Potato Chips

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2011
FINALLY!! I make chips once in a while, but I have a little kitchen gadget for that. But I never know the exact time and method, I have to just try and see. It is also more time consuming. So, now I tried this method which proved to be the best. I just sliced the potato with my chips slicer, without peeling as in the picture. Sprayed my parchment paper with vegetable oil. Seasoned the chips. Placed the slices without overlaying or touching. Covered them with parchment. All they needed was about 4 minutes WHILE WATCHING THEM and checking on them every 1.5 minute or so. Once they are golden, that is it. They are healthy, delicious and quick, took 10 minutes from start to finish to make 2 small potatoes. I LOVE chips, but I try to avoid them since I like to keep fit and healthy. Now, I don't have to feel guilty. I am eating them while typing this review! YUMMY! A quick update, I have made this recipe a number of times and became an expert so I took it to class and taught my students and they gave their parents the recipe and they are all making home-made chips guilt-free! THANK YOU!

Roasted Italian Herb Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2011
I am not sure what went wrong, usually all recipes I use from the site are wonderful, this one was not. I followed the directions, but the taste was kind of sweet due to the salad dressing event though I got rid of the remaining sauce after breading and before I put in the oven. I don't think we should cover it with foil; foil prevented it from getting crispy. I did remove it the last few minutes but still it stayed mushy. My kids didn't like it and I didn't, so I used the chicken to make Chicken noodle soup that is heavenly. That added some flavor to the soup.

Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2011
I have just finished those muffins and I couldn't resist tasting one while hot. That is absolute heaven! I followed the recipe 100% and they will wow anyone. My daughter is sick in bed and can't eat anything, but the smell drew her and now finally she is eating something! She says: the banana flavor then the chocolate after taste is out of this world. Thanks for the wonderful recipe!

Tater Crisp Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2010
Absolutely the best chicken I have ever tasted. And the absolute easiest! My son hates chicken, but when he saw the brown golden color on those pieces, he had to have one. When my daughter heard the crunchy sounds, she had to try them. The whole chicken disappeared before my eyes. I had to add spices and salt to the flakes though.

Almond Biscotti

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2010
I absolutely loved the taste of the biscotti. I shared it with my neighbor and she thought I bought them from the store. I added melted chocolate on the top. I give it 4 stars though as it was messy to make and the dough was not easy to manage and after it was baked, some broke off. But the taste was amazing.

That Good Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2010
I made this salad for a gathering and it was amazing. I put regular shredded cheese instead of Swiss, I omitted the bacon and I put olive oil instead of v.oil. There was leftover the next day, and it was still very delicious even though I never eat the salad if it stays one more day.

Awesome Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2010
I always loved this soup when I ate at a restaurant. My kids when they were babies, it was the only thing they would eat in a restaurant after I mash it. Then I found this recipe and I tried it for a gathering at my house. Everyone loved it so much and said it is as good as the one that we eat at that restaurant. My daughter never eats soup, but she ate that one two days in a row and took it to school too.
