Best Brownies

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2012
YUMMY ! I doubled the recipe exactly as written, put it in my large heart-shaped pan for Valentine's Day (baked an extra 6-7 mins), used my own favourite icing recipe and it was PERFECT ! They are chewy, chocolatey and my new favourite brownie recipe. Thanks for posting.

Crispy Wontons

WONDERFUL TREAT !! Easty to make (although time consuming it was a fun recipe). Yields a whole lot, so the left-overs are in a zip lock, sure to be used up quickly. Made exactly per posted recipe. Thanks for sharing - will check out more of your recipes.

A-Number-1 Banana Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2009
I made this for my daughter's 1st birthday and iced it with cream-cheese icing. The only difference to the recipe was that I only used 3 (large) bananas and left out the nuts (since it was for a baby). This is the best banana cake recipe I've ever used !!!

Great way to use up my leftover baked chicken from the family meal last night. This was SO good and easy to make. My hubby gave it 10 stars (5 for each of us).

Irish Cream Chocolate Cheesecake

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2008
YUM ! Big hit with my family. As mentioned in other comments, mine cracked a bit.Without going to the trouble of using suggested baking tips to avoid cracks, I just baked it and hid any flaws with chocolate whipped cream. Very tastey - will make again.

Asparagus and Smoked Salmon Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2007
I made this for my family for supper last night and modified it only slightly by using snow peas (as my hubby doesn't care for regular green peas). We all agreed it was wonderful and my hubby actually said it was the best salad he has ever eaten !!

Amazing Crab Shells

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2001
Made it as an appetizor for family dinner. Everyone agreed it was great. Used Ricotta cheese instead of cream cheese. It was less rich, and made it very fluffy tasting. So easy to make. A keeper.

Antojitos Minis

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2001
I made an assortment of various appetizers for my lingerie/candle party. This dish was emptied first and guests raved about them (also warned me that I would be asked to prepare this one for any upcoming events). Messy, but excellent and different from the "same old, same old".
