About this Cook
I am a recent cooker. I personally like to bake more. I am recently engaged and I am trying to improve on my cooking skills so far i met everything with success or close to. My goal is to in the future to be one of those mom's who makes meals by scratch no instant food, and to always have fresh baked good. Oh and my cooking roll model is Martha Stewart.
My favorite things to cook
Cupcakes Cakes Desserts
My favorite family cooking traditions
My favorite family cooking tradition is that every special meal (like Christmas, Easter, thanksgiving,) we make what my family calls Apple Nut Salad. Its chopped nuts, apples and whipped cream mixed together.
My cooking triumphs
I have mastered making cakes. I personally like to do layered cakes. Now I am trying to master Breads and Buns.
My cooking tragedies
I made Air Buns and they were very dense and boring. But I will succeed.

Chicken Satay
I did this recipe mostly to "T" but I ran out of curry powder and added chili powder. I love it that way. I did find it salty and I think I will reduce the soya sauce or find a reduced salt soya sauce. I also added a sweet chili thai sauce. I also used it as a dipper. I am going to take this recipe and tweak it to my own.

Jo's Rosemary Bread
This bread was so good. It was light and full of flavor. It was also easy to make. Not only was it one of best tasting breads that I have tried but it also made my place smell so great. My fiance said that I am becoming domesticated and that I must make it more. We used this bread to make crostini, just dipped it into balsamic vinegar and olive oil. A repeat for sure.
