Cream Cheese Frosting II

I halved the recipe, but used 1 1/4 cups of confectioners sugar. This created a real nice frosting - not too sweet. Will definitely make again.

Italian Sausage Soup with Tortellini

You must try this soup - it is quite different and the italian sausage gives it a bit of a kick. The only changes I made were to use canned tomatoes and dried basil. Very good recipe.

Japanese Style Deep Fried Shrimp

These were delicious. If you had set a plate of these shrimp in front of me I would have thought they came from a restaurant. I brought some to work and reheated them, they were not as crispy, but still got rave reviews.

Angel Chicken Pasta

You must try this recipe - it is great. I doubled up on the sauce and use bowtie noodles because the angel hair didn't seem substantial enough. My husband loved this meal as well. It had a lot of flavor.

I served these with Jagerschnitzel and it was soooo good. Normally I find spaetzle to be rather bland, but this spaetzle had a lot of flavor - I couldn't stop eating them.

Jamie's Cranberry Spinach Salad

Wonderful!! Even if you don't like spinach, I guarantee you will love this. Made it for a large group of people (triple batch) and they all raved about it. I didn't change a thing. Be careful not to make up too far ahead of time and the spinach will wilt.

Beef Wellington

I followed the tip of putting the pastries on a rack so they didn't get greasy, but I found this to be very very bland. Everyone commented that the meat had no flavor, even with the pate and mushrooms. Sorry to say I won't try this one again.
