Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2012
My family loves this recipe. It's quick and simple. I use low fat cream cheese, 1% milk to make it lower in fat and calories. You have to use the real parm. Not the Kraft stuff in the plastic container.

Cream of Broccoli Soup I

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2011
I used 1/2 water and 1/2 store bought chicken stock. I added salt and we garnish with cheese when served. Next time I am going to use 6 cups broccoli so I have more chunks. Everyone loved it including my 2 and 4 year old and hubby!

Easy Pumpkin Cream Trifle

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2010
This was a huge hit. We have family memebers who do not like cream cheese so I just substitued whipped topping. Bowl was empty at the end of the evening.

Dutch Apple Pie with Oatmeal Streusel

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2008
I can not rate on the whole recipe because I make my own apple pie 'filler' in the fall and jar it but I used the topping and it was very yummy. Hubby and I both loved it and will be using this recipe (for the topping) again!

Emma's Belgian Waffles

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2007
Although this recipe is not a simple one it is SO YUMMY! Hubby was supposed to make them but the folding in of the egg whites scared him away. Nice and crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Definatly making more of these soon!

Oven Baked BBQ Ribs

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2007
These are amazing and simple. The only changes I made was I used 1/2 the salt it called for and I turned and basted every 30 minutes instead of every 20. They were falling off the bone and so yummy. The sauce thickened nicely. I have been telling everyone I talked to today about this amazing recipe and will be passing it on to others. I may try less brown sugar next time as they were a little sweet for my husbands taste but I thought they were PERFECT!!!

Creamy Chocolate Frosting

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2005
BEWARE THIS IS VERY THIN! I ended up adding about 2 more cups of sifted confectioners'sugar to get it to a thick enough consistency to spread on cupcakes. I then had to add about 1/4 of unsweetened cocoa powder as by the time I added the extra confectioners' sugar it did not taste like chocolate any more. I WILL NOT make this again!

Chocolate Cheesecake I

Reviewed: May 13, 2003
This recipe was GREAT. I baked in a water bath like the Cheesecake tips suggested. I however should have wraped my pan in tinfoil as a little water leaked in an made the crust soggy. The cheesecake was baked to perfection, no cracks. I cooled over night and it was silky and mouth watering. Will be a monthly treat in our house. NOTE: I used 1/3 fat cream cheese and the texture was still perfect.

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2002
These brownies turned out amazing. I made sure not to over cook them so they are very moist. I had to cook a little longer as I made a double batch but both my 9x13 pans were being used. I put 1/2 the batter in and then sprinkled with semi sweet chocolate chips. I then added the rest of the batter and sprinkled more on top. The top is crunchy but once you cut through the top the inside is so moist.

Strawberry Fruit Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2001
I love this recipe. There was not a drop left. We found that it was best liked with strawberries and grapes. I added about 1 cup of cool whip to make it easier to get the dip on the fruit. Defiantly will be making this again!

Pizza Dough I

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2001
Both my husband and I loved it. It was quick and tasted great. I love that it is for one pizza crust. There was not a piece left over. It was the best! :)
