Had high hopes....Way too salty! Had to throw out liquid/veggies and rinse the meat. mixed meat with fresh salsa and used it for tacos so no worries....meat was not wasted. :(

This is the first time I've tried making it and I was worried about tempering the eggs wrong and ending up with scrambled eggs in my soup! The end result was a thickened beautiful soup. The only reason it got three stars was I juiced the lemons and put it in without tasting it...I think my lemons were not good or it was too much juice because it was way too tart. will start with one lemon then maybe add another :) was still yummy

YUM! I had to change a few things due to a shrimp allergy. I came across this recipe by searching eggplant because after an unsucessful recipe my family was turned off by eggplant. They are total converts thanks to this recipe! I peeled the entire eggplant and cubed it, added zuchini, mushrooms,onions to compenate for the shrimp. baked in a casserole dish. Used manchega cheese (sheep cheese) instead of parm due to another allergy. it is definately a make again!! I did use less bread crumbs and use spray olive oil on top to save calories.My daughter ate 3 servings love love love it...thank you :)

Thanks Lou! This was great make it for dinner and it was was made pretty close to original recipe. I made this recipe and halved it because there was only 4 of us. My hubby bought the wrong croissants but i made them work. Did what other reviewers said which was to parbake the crust. I used Knorr Hollandaise mix (delish) and I put in under the egg and drizzled more over the egg. then ham/cheese. Fantastic for a quick meal, not that figure friendly but soooo good! yum! I served mine with asparagus as a side and had some hollandaise left over in case anyone wanted more

very good...Some reviewers need to take thier crankypants off and realize we are all friends here...geez! We all need variations depending on the situation at hand. Who knew yummy roll ups could be so polarizing? :-) an echange of positive ideas is welcome in my book....just sayin' :-)

I love this recipe, it was easy and made great christmas gifts (made gift baskets with apple butter, cinamon bread & starbucks christmas blend coffee). I omitted cloves and just one cup of sugar and it was awesome. I am doing my second batch as I type. I am planned on mixing half of this batch with some fresh cranberries cooked and pureeed to see how that works out...apple cranberry YUM! I know next year I will be canning this BEFORE christmas at the peak of apple season. I was nervous with my first batch because i wasn't sure how it was supposed to look like/consistency. I also used an immersion blender which worked beautifully. I am much more confident doing this batch. Thank you so much for this lovely recipe. All I can say is don't hesitate on this recipe (just remember to go light on the sugar) Put it in your recipe box! :-)

excellent! definately a keeper and very versatile. I sauted mushroom, onion,green pepper with the zuchini. Also sent my hubby to the store to get hoagie buns & he came home with the wrong thing....so plan "b" we used a pa rbaked pizza crust and used the zucchini mixture as our topping and added the cheese on top. Popped it back in the oven to melt, what a happy accident!! Thanks for a great recipe!
