Great flavours! I added 1/2 cob of fresh uncooked corn on the cob - very nice and crisp. i had only red onion which added to the crispness.

Salmon with Brown Sugar and Bourbon Glaze

Great flavour. I followed the directions as above and it was excellent. I wish the sauce was thicker so I may use a little less Bourbon next time.

I followed the recipe as laid out and it was runny and bland. needed far more garlic and lemon. would not recommend.

Mid-Eastern Chicken Thighs

this recipe is amazing. A great curry for sure. I doubled the spice amount and added a few red pepper flakes. at the very end sprinkled some flour in to thicken the liquid to a sauce. everyone loved it.

Marinated Cheese

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2014
I brought this to a neigbourhood party. i had neighbours begging for the recipe. this is awesome. I used sundried tomotoes which worked well. the cream cheese is the best cheese in the dish so leave it in. i put it in the freezer for 15 minutes and it was easy to slice. unique and very yummy.

Veggie Quinoa

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2013
Great recipe but was worried about being bland. I fried the tofu a bit longer and used thai (sesame) oil. I also added soy and smoked paprika to the veggie mix after the spinach began to wilt. Gave it a nice savory taste. Yum!

Lori's Famous Crab Cakes

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2012
These were amazing. We made a sauce to compliment the crab cakes. It was made by mixing 2 tablespoons of mayonaise, the juice of half a lemon and a few shakes of hot sauce. It was all very tastey!

Thai Spiced Barbecue Shrimp

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2011
I marinated the shrimp a few hours ahead in the fridge. It was winter so I also used the skillet and found the flavour to be amazing. Careful not to overcook the shrimp.
