Joe's Fusion Chicken Pad Thai

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2012
Absolutely FANTASTIC!!! I made 3 changes-2 for health and 1 for personal preference-but I'd bet the original recipe is just as awesome. I used 1/2 cup brown sugar and only 1/2 tsp cayanne pepper so it wouldn't be too hot for my kids (3 & 1). Again, it is FANTASTIC!!

Cinnamon Rolls I

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2011
I've made these twice now and they are great!! I bake mine in a 9x13 in. pan so they don't come out looking "funky" or all stuck together. I only give 4 stars because they don't rise at room temperature. The first time I just thought my water wasn't warm enough when I added the yeast to it, but the second time I used almost boiling water and had the same issue, so I will put them in the sun on a warm day or in the (turned off) oven with a bowl of hot water underneath (like you do for bread). Other than that one flaw, this is a fantastic recipe!!

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2011
These are definitely the best brownies ever! I doubled the recipe for a 9x13 pan, but followed the suggestion of another reviewer and left out 1 egg, keeping the salt at 1/4 tsp and baked 31 minutes-perfect!. I also followed a different reviewer's advice and lightly beat the eggs BEFORE adding them to the mixture and used a wooden spoon instead of an electric mixer (really, it's not like a thick cookie batter or bread dough so it's very easy to just stir with a wooden spoon). My husband LOVED them and so did I!! Thanks for this fantastic recipe-I'll NEVER make a boxed mix again!!

Sauerbraten I

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2011
This was fantastic!! My husband LOVES German food and was so excited for this tonight! I cooked it in a crock pot on low all day and when he got home, he went and started sniffing it! The only "project" part was the turning, which I didn't find difficult or burdensome at all-easy to do while making meals the other nights. This was delicious and tender enough for my 18 month old to eat! Thank you so much for this fantastic recipe!

Quick Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2010
WONDERFUL!! My hubby made this tonight and it turned out just great-and that's with someone who knows NOTHING with making sauces! It was so good our 14-month-old ate it! We did add some cajun seasoning just because we were wanting spicy italian tonight, and we will probably thin the sauce a bit next time but overall I think it was fantastic!
