Chewy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2013
I have been trying many peanut butter chocolate chip cookie recipes on site. While some were very good and some were not very good, this one is the winner. I can stop my search.

White Chocolate and Cranberry Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2012
I doubled the recipe and only had one cup of cranberries at home so I just threw in more chips. These are excellent - my husband can't stop eating them. I think it is important to take them out of the oven when they are still soft. Oh, I also used vanilla. Anyone would love these.

DELICIOUS!!!! The things I changed - added 1/4 tsp, salt for a total of 3/4 tsp.; did not dissolve baking soda; changed vanilla to one tbsp. This recipe is a keeper!!! Best ever!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Pudding Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2012
These are awesome! My husband got in a snit tonight because I yelled at him for finishing the peanut butter and not telling me. He stormed out of the house and came back with peanut butter and peanut butter chips. So I looked up a recipe that would require chips and voila! While I was baking I asked him why he bought the chips. He said he knew I was going to bake something and was trying to be helpful. Men. Sometimes they do get it right. Anyway, these cookies are delicious. Will definitely put the recipe in my recipe box. I wish they didn't require a full pound of butter because "a moment on the lips, forever on the hips!" So I will save these for special occasions.

My family LOVES these. I make them exactly as the recipe reads and bake them for 10 minutes. No frosting needed. Crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. Perfect.

Salmon Patties I

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2011
I doubled the recipe and used 3 eggs instead of two. I also used three 10 oz. cans of salmon from Sam's Club because they don't have those annoying bony bits. This recipe was simple and delicious.

Lower Fat Banana Bread I

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2005
These are the changes I made - I added 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp ginger, 1/2 tsp. vanilla, 1/4 C chopped walnut, 1/4 C shredded carrot. Instead of water, I used 1/3C 2% milk and 1/3 C water and I used I Can't Believe it's not Butter margerine. I also used 1/2 brown sugar and 1/2 white sugar. After 50 minutes, I turned the temperature down to 300 and baked for 20 more minutes. Perfect! Moist with a crisp outside crust and a delicious flavor. I often bake for a homeless "restaurant" and this is always a hit and I don't feel like I am overloading anyone on sugar.

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins

Everyone loves these muffins no matter when I make them. They are moist and delicious especially if you pop them in the microwave and heat them slightly. This is a real winner of a recipe.

Easy Chicken Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2005
My family loves this recipe. I add a can of mushrooms and fresh onions and celery so that it has a bit of chew to it. I used to make a rice casserole dish with water but this is very creamy and much better!

Aggression ( Oatmeal ) Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2002
These are simple to make but instead of all the mess of the butter, glass and sugar, I just put the sugar in a small saucer, flattened the cookie on it and turned it sugar size up onto the cookie pan. Much easier. And they are very DELICIOUS! Thank you, L.A. Stevens, this recipe is a keeper.

Cherry Crisp

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2002
I am eating this as I am writing a review. This absolutely delicious. My family has been waiting for it to come out of the oven and cool down. The only complaint so far is too much ginger. You might want to cut back a little on it. Other than that...awesome!

Melt in Your Mouth Mint Brownies

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2001
Even though it was quick and easy, it was a mess. I made this for a party and no one touched it because it looks so bad when you cut it. My kids made balls out of it afterwards and ate them.
