Blueberry Brie

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2003
This is one of the greatest ways to serve Brie! My friend also adds a unique twist: Get a tube of crescent rolls dough, and line them around the cooking dish, with pointed sides out. Place cheese and filling (we like apricot preserves) on top of dough, and fold the points in toward the center. Cook the same as above. Dee-lish!

Best Marinara

Makes me think I should never use sauce-in-a-jar again! Easy, quick, and, yes, hearty. Even the husband liked the meat-free menu with this sauce! Will make it again.

Black Bean Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2003
My husband -- NOT a lover of meatless dinners -- raved about this chili! I served it with pico de gallo and sour cream as a garnish. Yum! It's a great alternative to our typical beef chili.

Strawberry Salad I

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2003
Excellent! I definitely wouldn't use Fat Free Miracle Whip, though. I used reduced fat M.W. and it still tasted a bit 'off'. In fact, I'd be inclined to use a bottled poppyseed dressing and this would still be really delicious. It was a huge hit at the office potluck!

Shrimp Durango

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2001
You just can't beat these ingredients... cilantro, lime, white wine, and cayenne... unless you use a little more of each of them. We thought the recipe came out just a tad bland. More spunk! More flavor! Maybe a little more salt and pepper would help. But this was a treat - thanks to Bill for sharing it!

Hot Honey Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2002
We really liked this recipe! Seems like the cooking time is a little too long, but we're not sure -- we're brand-new grill owners, and still learning. Sauce was delicious, I can't wait to use it on something else. Pork chops, veggie kabobs... yum!

Red, White and Blue Slaw Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2002
Excellent! I was a little nervous to serve this at my July 4th party, because so many people don't care for blue cheese.... but it received all kinds of compliments and the bowl was emptied! Thanks!

Celery Wine Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2002
Very easy, and yummy! I would add a splash more wine, or marinate the chicken ahead of time in wine, like another reviewer suggests. I might serve with pasta next time so I can enjoy more of the delicious sauce!

Nothing special. Maybe I did this wrong - but how could I screw up something so easy?

Chicken with Brie and Caramelized Onions

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2013
Loved my version of it. Didn't have brie but used mozzarella with success. Didn't do the sauce because the onions were plenty of flavor. Thx! Husband liked it, too!

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2006
My husband said, "This is probably the first thing you've made in the crock pot that wasn't dried out." And he's right. It was delicious served shredded, on hamburger buns, with cheese-corn as a side dish. Even my 21-mth-old ate it, with gusto! Thanks for the recipe.

Broccoli, Rice, Cheese, and Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2006
Delicous. Thanks to the other users' tips, we used 1/2 velveeta and 1/2 regular cheddar, and added 1 clove garlic. My 21-mth-old asked for seconds!! Hooray!

Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2003
This tasted great! I would even make more sauce, and maybe add a little flour to thicken it. I will definitely make this again.

Chicken-and-Pasta Bake with Basil

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2002
This just didn't turn out to be as great as I'd hoped. I think the Asiago cheese was too sharp when I put it with that much garlic. (I used a pretty large clove, and it was waaay too much.) The casserole also seemed too dry. Maybe it's just our taste, but I think it would have been better with parmesan cheese.

Monterey Jack Salsa

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2002
Great recipe, and fun because it's different! Too salty, though - I would cut down on the dressing, and definitely don't add extra salt or the MSG. We used Pepper Jack, too - yum. Can't wait to serve it to guests!

Yum! Classic salmon dish, and delish. You don't need a full quarter cup of butter, in my opinion. But still, A+.

The best. My mother-in-law somehow makes them better. Why do mine turn out cake-y? Still, you can't beat the taste. I'll keep working on it! Thanks, Nestle!
