Wyoming Cowboy Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2012
These are the most addictive cookies I have ever made! I make the full batch and freeze the batter in the shape of a log. Simply cut off as many cookies that you want to bake at a time. I adjusted the recipe to accommodate our new healthful foods. I used all purpose spelt flour, 1/2 butter and 1/2 coconut oil and coconut sugar in place of other sugars and quail eggs.

Quinoa with Vegetables and Thyme

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2011
We LOVED this and will be making it again and again! We are still pretty new to eating Quinoa and I was almost giving up on finding a good recipe when I found this beauty. I followed the recipe and tweaked it just a bit after reference to other comments and using up veggies from the fridge. 1 c quinoa, 2 c vegetable broth (I will use 1 3/4 cups of it next time as its a bit too soft for my liking with 2 cups), 1 diced med carrot, 1/4 red pepper, 1/2 orange pepper, 1 packed cup of fresh spinach, 1 small shallot, 2 cloves garlic, 1/2 tsp lemon juice, 1/2 tsp dried thyme. I cooked the veggies w/garlic & shallot and lightly toasted the quinoa, it really adds a nice flavor to toast it. I then added it all into rice cooker with veggie broth, lemon & thyme & a bit of salt. You might want to make extra just to have leftovers with this one!

Best Bread Machine Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2011
The taste and texture is fantastic! This will now be the usual bread that I make. I did add 1/4 tsp more salt as another reviewer suggested. My bread almost touched the window.

Ginataang Manok (Chicken Cooked in Coconut Milk)

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2011
Other people that ate dinner at my house that night raved about this recipe but for me it was flat, not enough distinction between flavours for my liking.

Maple Salmon

Nice marinade and flavor! I used organic dark maple syrup & Braggs soya sauce. I used fresh garlic and sea salt instead of garlic salt. YUM!

Krystal's Perfect Marinade for BBQ or Grilled Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2010
Great marinade! I used half to make a smaller batch, a little less soya sauce. Added about 3 tbsp of fresh grated ginger and 1/4 tsp of hickory smoke powder. This will be a marinade that I will make many times for sure! Thanks for posting it :)

Beer and Brown Sugar Steak Marinade

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2010
I didn't enjoy this as much as I thought I would. I will give it one more try as sometimes it can just be the way my taste-buds are on that particular day. I also didn't have dark beer so next time I make this, I will use dark beer to see if that improves this for me.
