Savory Italian Sausage Sauce
Love it! I halved the cooking time, since I was using it for a lasagna, so it was going to cook another 40 minutes in the oven anyway. The sausage I chose was fresh sweet Italian. I used fresh basil and oregano, rather than dried. Overall: a savory, sweet and complex result! I'll use this one again.

Pasta Lasagna
Absolutely PERFECT for someone like me. That is, someone who loves the homemade taste and feel of lasagna, but is always looking for a shortcut. Someone who doesn't have a lot of time and patience for dealing with big floppy lasagna noodles that inevitably tear. Someone who would dearly love to make sauce from scratch, but again--no time on weeknights. So what I did was get a jar of one of my favorite sauces: Ragu Chunky Tomato, Garlic & Onion. The veggie chunks make it seem more homemade. Also, I substituted medium shell pasta for penne--I'm not really big on hollow tube pastas. All the ratios of meat, cheese, sauce & pasta were just to our liking too. Bravo!

Maple Apple Crisp
Wow, fantastic! I only had about 1/2 the recommended amount of maple syrup, so I used honey for the rest--incredibly delicious! I added raisins, too, and they plumped up really well. I look forward to making this many, many times in the future. :)
