Cinnamon Supper Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2009
Very easy. I added cinnamon to batter as others did. Mime came out a little dry but I'm not the greatest baker. I might try this again adding like 1/2 cup of applesauce and see how that turns out. Either way I will make this again. Oh and I love that it is a small cake. We never finish a regular size.

I made this for a BBQ and I can't believe how much everyone loved it! I used to make cornbread from the box but I'll never do that again. This is so easy and delicous. Thanks for the recipe.

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2007
Best cake ever!!!! Followed the recipe exactly for ingredients. I started baking this at 350 in a dark non-stick bundt pan but it began to look like the edges were getting done too fast so I turned the oven down to 325 baked it a little longer then the recipe called for and it came out perfect.

Taco Dip

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2006
I gave this 4 stars because I thought this had great potential. I thought there were too many beans and I only used 2 cans. Next time I make this I will use 1 can of refried beans and double the sourcream and use 3 pks of taco seasoning for added zest. I didn't use salsa at all but put lots of fresh tomatoes lettuce. I will definitely make this again.

Spanish-Style Chicken and Sausage

I don't know if I would call this spanish but I would call it delicious. We really enjoyed this. I used 1 can of diced tomatoes instead of fresh as other suggested. Other then that followed recipe exactly. Just great.

Roasted Pork Loin

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2006
I've made this twice and I have to tell you the second time I cheated. I browned the roast then put it in the crock pot and dumped the minced garlic, you know the stuff in a jar and the rosemary on top of the roast and then cut holes in it a kinda pushed the stuff inside and left some on top too. I didn't make a paste. Then I drizled a little olive oil on tbe top added salt, pepper and accent. Threw some dehydrated minced onions on top. Added the wine and cooked it in the crock pot for 8 hrs. It came out just as good if not better then the first time. This is the absolute best pork roast. I'm not even sure if I used a loin. I used that big giant pork roast and cut it and made 3 roasts out of it. Not the small loin cut.

Beef Nacho Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2006
Everyone liked this. I used sourcream instead of the miracle whip. I also served it on the side instead of mixing it in because my daughter doesn't like sourcream. I will def. make this again.

Cheddar Biscuits

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2005
Eh. I don't know. I used reduced fat bisquik so maybe that was the problem but I was very disappointed. Too blah. Even my father who always takes seconds on any kind of bread or biscuit passed these up.

I can't believe how good this was. The combination of food sounded weird to me but since it had gotton so many rave reviews I thought I'd give it a try. DELICIOUS!!!! Oh, I didn't have celery salt so I used a little table salt instead.

BBQ Chicken

Reviewed: May 19, 2005
This was kind of blah. I use a brush on that doesn't need to be boiled and I think its better. Just simple olive oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, and garlic powder that I thought has more taste than this. The chicken was good it just didn't have any extra flavor. Sorry :(

Oven Roasted Potatoes

Reviewed: May 19, 2005
These were easy, easy, easy and sooooo good. I only used the spices I had and left some out. I cut back on the red pepper as someone else advised. Everyone in my family loved them. This will become a standard in our house.

This was very good. I couldn't get fresh brussel sprouts so I used frozen and it still came out good. Next time I will use less butter. I don't think it needed that much.

Tastes-Like-Beef Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2005
I thought these were delicious. They were a bit salty so I will use half the onion soup packet next time as someone else suggested, which is what I should have done the first time. Otherwise, I will definetly make these again because I'm always looking for lower calorie alternatives to my favorite foods and I thought these were great.

Beef Stew VI

I liked this beef stew a lot. I added potato flakes to thicken it as suggested and beef broth and I added mushrooms, a little red wine, and a couple of bay leaves. Great for a cold winters day.
