I have learned how to cook only since I moved to Canada less than three years ago. I have fostered my enthusiasm and creativity at the kitchen in rather unsuspecting ways!

I love to bake: the smell of cakes, muffins and cookies fresh from the oven fills me with joy! I am still experimenting and getting better and more confident!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Dad loves to be creative in the kitchen and make great desserts. His bests are rice and bread pudding, which I have successfully made.
My cooking triumphs
On the savory side: My famous lentils.
I was in charge of last year's Christmas dinner and it was a success. I baked a pork roast with a recipe that I found here.
And I make delicious banana Breads and cakes. My lemon tarts and chocolate cakes are delicious!
My cooking tragedies
Oh my... where to start... I think that my non-cooking policy for a long time begun when I was 14 and I tried to boil an egg with its shell and all in the microwave, for 10 minutes! - In my defense I was seriously hungry and had no idea what I was doing- The microwave exploded with a burned fuse, while the egg was all over the place...
