Pork Roast With The World's Best Pork Loin Rub

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2014
This was so easy and delicious! I didn't have all the ingredients but it wasn't bad without the thyme, white sugar(not needed really), ginger or red pepper flakes. It was spicy enough with the ground cayenne pepper.... I had a smaller (1 lb 1/2) loin and adjusted the recipe thru my app and it was still delicious. But even then I had a substantial amount of rub left that I saved and will attempt to use on another meat dish...I will say that the cumin is a bit overwhelming and the next time I cook this, I will adjust to probably just a half a teaspoon....also I used a meat thermometer and it was so tender and juicy and cooked perfectly at about 35-40 in oven-remember I had a smaller loin. Def let it rest. This was great and I will definitely make again!

Chocolate Chip Cheesecake I

Reviewed: May 1, 2013
This was my first try EVER and I was certainly very concerned since I was making it for my husband's 40th birthday. I made it the day before and put it in the fridge and we were so excited to taste it after dinner becuz it was So beautiful (I didn't get the cracks like others mentioned). Well, it was so worth the wait, it was SO delicious and thick and rich, I couldn't believe the "I" made it and it wasn't purchased from some fancy bakery downtown. lol I will say, I looked at all the pictures and read the reviews and made sure to add more chips than in the recipe, but now looking back, I wished we had put less so we could have had more of the cheesy goodness and it not being so packed with chips inside as well as on top. Trust me, it was still divine. I think it had to be the sweet condensed milk, and I actually beat my eggs one at a time and let my cheese and eggs sit at room temperature. I think this will be THE Cheesecake recipe I will ever need. ENJOY!!

Kool-Aid Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2011
This recipe was given to me by my relatives and it's SO simple. I too used just a can of EAGLE brand condensed milk, but I also add crushed pineapple(you have to squeeze the excess juice out of it or the pie will b runny). I also added a lot more whipped cream cuz it cuts that super dense sweetness out of the pie-which can tend to b TOO rich. YUM. EASY. SIMPLE. My kind of recipe.

Peach Cobbler II

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2010
WOW. I'm eating this right now and I can't believe it so good! I've never made fresh peach cobbler before and I killed it tonight! Husband JUST said as he walked from the living room with an empty bowl, "That was pretty colossal. I'm starting to suspect you have super human skills." Seriously he just said that. I DID make some adjustments- I used melted coconut oil for the shortening, therefore I had to add about a 1/4 cup of flour. I also used about 5 big peaches, and added about 1/2 TBSP of flour to that for the extra juices. Coconut oil is a perfect sub for shortening-WAY healthier and it's now easier to get. Also I had to cook it a little longer-I watched it, but I'd say it was about an extra 15mins. Enjoy! Great recipe, we will keep it.

Peanut Butter Kisses I

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2010
OMG. I am eating one right now, hot out the oven...absolutely AMAZING....this was my first time cooking it, so I had a hard time getting the egg whites to form quickly-took a good 15 or 20 min! BUT, oh my oh my, was it worth it....I did bake them 20 min instead of 25...Um, I'm just not going to tell my husband about any cookies I bake tonight...shhhhh, he'll never know.... ; )

The hardest part is cutting the shortening into the flour, but other than that this is a pretty simple and extremely delicious dessert. It's a HIT EVERYTIME I make it...I get requests for it as a birthday gift!
