About this Cook
Divorced, childless, jobless, and happy. Quite heavily into Second Life, but have to borrow a computer nowadays since mine is busted. Cook a lot, to a high standard apparently (cooking school fees not wasted then) according to my fans.

Thai-Style Grapefruit and Prawn
Excellent! Delivers everything promised! Love it! Can use pre-packaged cooked prawns if you like. Perhaps not an authentic Thai recipe, but then the title DOES say it's Thai-style.

Blooming Onion and Dipping Sauce
I actually want to give 4.5, because I just can't bring myself to give 5. I haven't put my finger on exactly why I don't want to give full marks; as others have said, there is an elusive something "missing". That said, this is very, very good indeed. The sauce is very good, and others have done this with onion rings, so it is worthwhile keeping it! The "blooming" part is quite labour-intensive, and I got it right 3 out of 4 times!

Dad's Magic Bar Olives
Really excellent and worth the prep time. And you can use other cheeses if you like, make it as spicy as you want by adding chilli flakes and so on and so on. But the recipe is superb just as it stands.
