Grilled Marinated Shrimp

Reviewed: May 22, 2006
Delicious! My husband loved it. I had to cut back on the hot sauce for my 7 year old (who loved it BTW). Next time I'll just give him chicken fingers and kick up the heat! Added bonus: boil the left over marinade and dip fresh bread in it, YUMMY! Thanks for the recipe.

Sinfully Delicious Chocolate Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2004
The best thing I have ever eaten! I have access to fresh eggs so they were still warm when I put them in the recipe. I served it for dinner/game night and about 1 a.m. three people had seconds. Very rich and right up my alley! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Microwave Lemon Curd

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2004
I never would have believed it if I hadn't tried it myself! I only needed a small amount of lemon curd so I made 1/3 of the recipe and stirred every 30 seconds. It was delicious on poppy seed muffins. Tip: make sure your bowl is big enough that the curd doesn't boil over in the microwave like mine did the first try :) Thanks, Catseo, for saving me tons of time!

Asian Lettuce Wraps

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2004
Thank you, thank you, thank you! This was the recipe I was looking for. I used ground chicken instead of beef, but everything else was perfect!

Grandma Minnie's Old Fashioned Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2004
These were the perfect cookies. I couldn't believe how easy the dough was to work with even without being chilled. I used powdered sugar instead of flour when I rolled them. I did have a little trouble getting them off the pan, so I think I will use parchment paper next time. This recipe went straight to my "use all the time" recipe file.

Best White Icing Ever

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2003
This was exactly what I was looking for. Just like the icing at the bakery my kids love. I think the key was beating it for the full 5 minutes. I used the 10 setting on my kitchenAide with the whip attachment and the icing was fluffy and perfect for piping onto cupcakes. Thanks!

Italian Almond Cookies II

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2002
My mom has talked about almond cookies ever since we had them on a recent trip to New York. I'm so excited to give them to my mother tomorrow!! What better way to say thanks for a great trip!! Thank you Cindy! I dropped the dough directly from the spoon into the almond mixture then tossed the almonds on top. I had no problem because I never touched the dough without the almonds on it.

Blue Ribbon Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2002
Thank You! These are wonderful. The Cream of Tartar makes all the difference. I didn't have lemon extract so I used a little Almond extract and the cookies were delicious. I almost hated to frost them, they tasted so good plain!

Banana Bread IV

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2001
Loved it! I made mini muffins to send to my son's pre-school class, they were a big hit. I added the bananas into the mixer with the butter and sugar instead of mashing them separately, saved a dirty bowl. I even had to add the eggs at the end (because I had forgotten them) and they turned out great. Any recipe that fool-proof is a keeper!
