Classic Meatloaf

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2012
The whole family loved this one! The pureed vegetables seemed to add a "fluffiness" to the result, while the loaf still held together well.

Zesty Pulled Pork Sandwiches

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2014
A hit! Based on the comments of some reviewers, I omitted the brown sugar. I also added liquid smoke. Definitely a keeper!

Layered Peppermint Bark

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2012
Delicious result! I found the dark chocolate layer stayed a bit too soft, so the second time I made it, I reduced the cream by one tablespoon. This makes a great gift, presented in a cellophane gift bag.

Raw Apple Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2013
I have made this recipe a number of times, and it always disappears very quickly. I use half of the amount of sugar, and find it to be plenty sweet. I also have used various varieties of apples, with good results.

Strawberry Avocado Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2013
Delicious! Like some other reviewers, I left the sugar out, using only the honey as a sweetener. I made a quadruple batch, which was quickly gobbled up at the dinner party I attended.

Tasty Tender Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2013
The whole family LOVED this recipe, based on alterations I made. I followed other reviewers' advice and halved both the honey and the dry soup mix. Instead of using a bottled dressing, I made the Chilled Russian Salad Dressing that is on this site, doubling the chili sauce the recipe asks for. Cooking pork tenderloin for such a long time also dries it out. I used a probe and removed it from the oven when the internal temperature was 145 degrees and tented it under foil for five minutes before serving. Yummy!!!
