Jimmbo's Garlic Knots

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2010
I absolutely loved these! I did make quite a few changes though. I pureed the garlic with the oil and poured it over the knots before baking. I also used fresh basil in place of the parsley which I added with the parmesan as soon as I took them out of the oven. Even my 3 year old son loved this recipe!

Easy, Cheesy Tortellini Bake

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2010
This was a really good recipe! I'm only giving it 4 stars because the amount of sauce to the amount of pasta was way off! I used almost 48 oz of fresh tortellini and it turned out great! I was a little hesitant to add the extra Italian seasoning but it added a really nice herb kick to the sauce. I used Bertoli sauces as these are my favs! Overall a great recipe and a different way to use tortellini that I will deffinately do again!

Dutch Babies II

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2010
I was VERY disapointed in this recipe. I tried several of the tips suggested by other reviewers (warming the eggs and milk) but they came out very eggy tasting and quite dense. I don't think I'll be making these again!

Red Velvet Cupcakes

Reviewed: May 31, 2010
Let me just start by saying this was the best cream cheese frosting ever!! I added 1/4 cup oil to the batter at the suggestion of some other reviewers and the cupcakes came out very moist. Also, it only took 17 minutes for them to bake. I'm glad I checked early or they would have been way overdone at 25 minutes. I think the addition of mini chocolate chips would be good as well. A very good recipe!

Blackberry Cobbler II

Reviewed: May 25, 2010
Overall this was a very good recipe. I took the advise of some other reviewers and doubled the topping recipe because that is my favorite part of a cobbler, but I thought it made way too much for the amount of blackberries. I also added cinnamon to the topping and that was very good! Next time I make this I want to try sprinkling the crust with a little sugar before baking to give it a crunch and I think I will reduce the amount of sugar in the blackberries by 1/4 cup.

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: May 16, 2010
This was soooo good! I was a little wary of putting the chicken in without liquid but it turned out fabulous! I served it over egg noodles and even my 3 year old son loved it! I wouldn't change anything.
