Another Halloween Bites the Dust

Another one has come and gone. For this mother of five, Halloween has evolved quite a bit over the past 27 years. Where once this time of year meant burning the midnight oil sewing costumes, visiting the local pumpkin patch and selecting our pumpkins,
carving and roasting seeds, decorating our home and trick or treating, has now become waiting for the doorbell to ring to hand out candy to the neighborhood kids.
I reminisce on Halloweens past with so many kids with fond memories, but I won't let all the fun of this fun time of year get by me. I can still entice my kids to hang a while with mom in the kitchen and munch on some tasty treats. This year I tried the
