How to Make Cream Biscuits

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2013
Easy & delicious. Didn't use butter this time since I used them under sausage gravy. Will definitely make again! I baked at about 375 for 15 min.

Broccoli Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2011
Great recipe. I used frozen broccoli, but a little more than it called for. Didn't have corn starch so I thickened it using a rue (added at the same time the corn starch would have been) and I used shredded cheddar cheese-not sure how much, but it was a healthy dose! I will definitely be making this again!

Di's Delicious Deluxe Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2010
I haven't found a deviled egg recipe that I absolutely love yet but this one will work until then, or with a few adjustments. The onion and celery add a very nice egg-salad-like quality to these but the lack of mustard makes them somewhat plain. I plan to try this again with a few changes!

Eclair Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2010
Needed a recipe for a dessert I could make the night before a family reunion and decided to try this one. I'm glad I did! SO easy and relatively inexpensive! This dessert got many compliments and I had to share the recipe, of course. The only thing I changed was that I made my own ganache topping (1 cup heavy cream heated just to boiling and poured over 9 oz of semi-sweet chocolate chips, whisk to melt) instead of using store-bought chocolate frosting. It made for a much richer chocolate topping and set up wonderfully. This will probably be my go-to dessert for family gatherings now!
