I made this tonight, as a practice run for thanksgiving. Obviously, I made it outside of the turkey. I did not have turkey liver. I used chicken stock instead of turkey stock. I also used a granny smith apple. Everyone loved it, but I thought that maybe there were too many cranberries. I think I will cut it down. Since I was cooking it in the oven, I did it at 300, because it will probably share the oven with the ham, and I wanted to see if it worked on a cooler oven than others are using. I cooked it for about 90 mins with foil. Then I took the foil off to dry it out a bit - for about 2 hours total. I used 1 cup stock, and it was plenty. I did not have to add any more liquids. It was a big hit. Thank you!
