About this Cook
I didn't start cooking until I got married a little over 3 years ago. A year or so later, I realized that I actually enjoy it! I've been a lurker at this site since the beginning of my cooking journey and I finally decided I needed to register to keep track of all of my recipes so I don't keep making the same things over and over again. When I'm not cooking, I am usually annihilating opponents in video games!
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook Indian food. I dislike bland food and Indian food is never boring!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My dad loves to go overboard whenever he makes something and I always tease him about it. For example, if he makes smoothies and everyone wants "peach" flavor, he puts every fruit he can find in it. He does the same thing with Chicken and Dumplings. I call it his Chicken and Dumplings and Mushrooms and Green Beans and Carrots, and . . . (you get the idea)!
My cooking triumphs
I consider myself an expert on healthy eating. I've gotten pretty good at making unhealthy dishes healthy with the right substitution of ingredients.
My cooking tragedies
When I first got married, I didn't know what "bouillion" was so I just left it out of the dinner I was cooking. Needless to say, the dish was awful! Now, I look up EVERY ingredient I am unfamiliar with before deciding to leave it out or not.

Slow Cooker Moroccan Chicken
Delicious unique flavor! I was lazy and used canned chicken and skipped the cornstarch + water step. I thought the consistency was perfect.

Ants on a Log
This is the only way I enjoy raw celery! I like to cram as many "ants" on each stalk as I can.
