Peanut-Ginger Marinade

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2010
MMMMMM, MMMM, MMM...This recipe is to die for! I tried it once, lost the recipe and forgot it's name, but thankfully found it again. Never used the chili paste because I never have it on hand, instead, I used Frank's Red hot sauce in it's place. Added it to my recipe box and will never lose it again!! This should be gourmet...it is amazing and all my friends ask "What is this marinade?" and claim they have nnever had anything better!! OMG!! It is delicious!!! Thank you!!!

Jammin' Beef Stew

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2009
WOW! Very delicious! I've had meatballs made with a sauce of grape jam and ketchup, so I kind of knew what to expect because those were wonderful. This was amazing, and really great for a change from the ol' onion soup mix. I'm inspired to also try it with tomato soup mix and curry next time just because I think it would be good. Maybe even trade the grape jelly for cranberry sauce in the fall. Yummo!! Thanks!

White Chili with Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2009
I really liked this, and so did my family. I didn't have cornstarch, so I used 3 Tablespoons of Flour mixed with 1/4 cup cold lime juice rather than just using 1 tablespoon lime juice in chili. It thickened it, but I think I will not drain the beans next time to add thickness. The flavor was deliscious, absolutely perfect. Thanks for sharing!! I did not use cilantro as others suggested, I didn't have it, but the parsley flavor was really good!

Buttery Corn Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2009
This is an amazing recipe. I normally don't even try cornbread, I don't like the gritty teextures of those I've tried, however...this is amazing!!! I made a whole 13 x 9 inch pan full, between 4 people we nearly ate the whole pan. had it with chicken chili. Thanks for sharing, I'll always use this recipe!!

Cabbage and Smoked Sausage Pasta

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2009
Not bad, however.....1/2 cup of butter + 1/4 cup of oil? I don't see that being necessary. I omitted both. I use only 2 table spoons of oil, veggie, and only to cook the sausage in. I guess the oil stuf is to make it saucy. I used 1 can tomatoe soup instead. add a couple tablespoons of water...I really liked it! this is a keeper.

Baked Spaghetti

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2009
This is likely good as is, but my taste pallet likes a bit of tang, I am crazy about tangy italian things, so I added 1/4 cup of ketchup to my meat sauce. If you like like tangy, the ketchup adds an amazing sweet tang. I will make this again!! Soon. Thank you.

Followed recipe and these came out perfect. I only stuck my "balls" in the freezer for a few minutes before dipping into chocolate. I couldn't wait. Then I stuck back in freezer for a minute or two. PERFECT!!! Making another batch now. Gotta give em out for Christmas this year!!! I would love to get these as a Christmas gift. YUMMO!

Peach Omelet

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2008
I'm sorry, but ewe! This is almost like putting peaches in mashed potatoes, it just doesn't go together and then bacon? A good thought gone awery. I don't think eggs and peaches go together well as an omelet, or maybe something is missing. Because of the bacon, it would probably help to add salsa and omit the sugar in the recipe. Perhaps I will stick to my pancakes or oatmeal for my peaches.

Pumpkin Roll with Toffee Cream Filling and Caramel Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2008
Bravo. Delicious and Magnifique!! Never would have known it was this easy if I hadn't found it here!! Gotta try this!! I did find the gelatin mixed with the rum part was a bit tricky, and I boshed that a bit, so I added whip cream from a container and an extra tablespoon of the rum to cover my mistake...no problems, it worked great! I'm making this again at Christmas for a party and I am going to omit the gelatin part altogether and save the hassle, since no one even noticed anyway and everyone loved it last time. It's a keeper!!! Thanks! I thought it would take time to make this recipe by the way, I had to send my hubby out for a missing ingredient too and was cutting it close to when it should be done, so when I finally was able to begin, I was amazed at how fast I was able to put this together. Looks like a lot of work, soooo easy though!! forgot to brush the cake with rum too like someone suggested, I think that will be great! I will have to write it into the recipe so I won't forget. the cake part...must use cake flour...it's so flexable. Otherwise it will definately break when rolling. Yummo!

Classic Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2008
This is a great recipe! Thanks. I chilled my cookie dough only 30 minutes due to anxiety, I couldn't wait to bake them. Exactly 10 minutes as a previous reviewer stated...these are perfect! I made them with choc. chips and with M&M's and Plain...great no matter what. I definately enjoy them as is with no chips or anything the best! Thanks again!
