Amy's Chocolate Chip Cookies
I (sadly) didn't have any butter in the house so I looked up a choco chip cookie recipe that didn't use butter and found this recipe. I was very reluctant about making cookies with margarine, but the recipe called for it (even though it says butter in the directions), so I trusted it, and the reviews, and was severely let down. With that being said, everyone else liked it. It was a bit too cakey for me though, and since I take my baking pretty seriously (ok, I'm like OCD and meticulous when it comes to baking), for me to bake less than perfect, basic, chocolate chip cookies was a personal problem. If you're in a pinch with no butter, then I GUESS use this recipe, and definitely dress it up with interesting pudding flavors and/or different flavored chips but as is, I just cannot give it 5 stars (based solely on my obnoxiously perfectionist taste). At any rate, happy baking :)

Toscana Soup
So I have to write a review even though I didn't follow the recipe as written (which I know is a heavy foul on my part, but I can't help myself.) The recipe has so much potential! As it is, however, I doubt that it would taste any good to the average person. I used 3 potatoes instead of 2 and ground sausage instead of spicy pork links. I ended up with a lot of "stuff" in my soup which I enjoyed, but isn't necessary if you don't want it. I seasoned the garlic, onions, and sausage to my taste while frying, which did include red crushed peppers like other reviews suggested. Lastly, I used 4 cups of chicken broth instead of water and light cream because I had no heavy cream. The soup came out amazing! I can stop eating it! Especially when I sprinkle parmesean on it. So the recipe itself probably would have been bad (hence the 4 stars), but with a little tweaking, it can be better than the OG's and personalized to fit your tastes.

Banana Cake VI
This cake tastes so good, I'm fighting myself constantly not to go and eat some more! There's only my mother and I in the house and that's probably why it's still here. I followed the recipe exactly as written and was not let down at all. The icing seemed a bit out of place, but I have a feeling that I messed it up, (I thought I lost count while adding the sugar). Either way, it still came out nicely. Anytime I have extra bananas, this is the recipe I'm going for!
