I love food and I love to try new things :) I also eat only real, whole foods opposed to processed stuff and my diet focuses on a primal or paleo diet. This means all pastured, grass-finished meats and eggs from sustainable sources and fresh organic veggies and fruits. Local when possible. I also enjoy raw dairy from pastured cows.

My favorite things to cook
Red meat like beef, buffalo and lamb, pork, wild game, seafood and veggies. I love grilling or broiling meats and making meals in the crock pot. I also enjoy fermenting things, like kombucha and kefir, and soak any grains I consume.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My nana did a lot of cooking around me, so I guess that's where I get it from! I still make some of her staples, like spaghetti sauce and chicken wings. I also took over Thanksgiving dinner.
