Pesto Pasta with Chicken
I normally made two separate meals every night to accommodate our three children; our youngest is a picky eater. I made the pesto from a dry packet I bought in the sauce aisle; I am not a fan of “already made” foods. All the children tried it after it was done and it was a HIT! I already fed the kids something else that night, but after the youngest tried it, he told me to add it to his favorite meals to cook for him. This was so easy to prepare, the smells are delightful and between the appearance and taste, you would never know how easy it was to put together. The only change I will be making is not using a full package of sun-dried tomatoes, they were overpowering the flavor of the dish and we ended up eating around them.

World's Best Lasagna
I have been making my own lasagna for years and everyone loved it, but this recipe was amazing! I used one pound of sweet italian sausage and one pound of extra lean ground beef. I also doubled all my seasonings for extra flavor. As some of the reviews stated, after I did the meat, onion and garlic I mixed all the other sauce ingredients together and cooked it on the stove for eight hours. I also did this the day before I wanted to assemble my lasagna and then let the lasagna sit overnight for flavor. This is a lot of extra work, so I made two lasagnas (one to freeze) and it was well worth it. I made this for a birthday celebration and everyone raved over it, even the toughest of my critics! Thank you for such an amazing recipe!
