Tenderloin with Spicy Gorgonzola-Pine Nut-Herb Butter

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2010
Excellent recipe. Very easy, with a ton of flavor. I skipped the pine nuts (don't care for them) and substituted blue cheese so I didn't follow the recipe exactly, but nonetheless had great results. Even the guy who "hates and cannot stand" blue cheese thought this was to die for (I just didn't tell him the ingredients =). Thank you for the recipe!

Lobster Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2010
I'm sorry, this recipe was awful. My family and I love lobster and I had high hopes for this one, but the taste was just not at all appetizing. My brother spit out the bite he took, and the rest I had to throw away.

Cranberry cashew salad

The cheese and salt can be left out for preference. The rest of the ingredients should be relatively healthy and flavorful!

Shrimp Bisque

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2010
This recipe can easily be doubled, and extra milk can be substituted for the cream if necessary. Go easy with the thyme, as it can easily overpower the other flavors if more than is called for is used.

Beef Stroganoff III

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2011
This is one of our favorite recipes! It's excellent as written, but very adaptable. I don't generally put wine in and I use whatever type of onions we may have available. Also, fresh shiitake or portobella mushrooms really add a lot of flavor if they're sauteed prior to simmering everything down. Excellent - thank you so much for the recipe!

Panzanella Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2011
I loved this salad. The ingredients you use will definitely make the difference (good crusty bread, fresh tomatoes, and real mozzarella!). I had been looking for a recipe that was new but not so exotic the BF wouldn't want to try it. He loved this! Fit our tasted perfectly.

Grilled Vidalia Onion Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2011
Fabulous fabulous fabulous. I did ultimately put in a little mustard powder and some extra ice cubes to make extra broth. I also let it sit on the grill for about an hour or so (on low at the end) since the people I was feeding were late. However, I think that was only to its benefit - the onions break apart after cooking for so long and it's got a wonderful flavor. I put the cheese on once I had the soup poured into bowls and let it melt that way. The man said it was the best onion soup I'd ever made and I had to agree....and I've made some good onion soup! Love it. Now I want to try using this cooking method to try something like stew while camping....!

Lemon Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2013
I follwed the advice of another reviewed and made a glaze of 1/4 c lemon juice and 1/2 c sugar (boil until sugar is dissolved, then drip on bread until absorbed/covered). I think I may have left too much liquid in the zucchini because it needed an extra 1/2 hour to cook, but it was absolutely wonderful. LOVE the lemon with it!

Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2013
Highly addictive. I double (or triple) the sauce and serve it over spinach noodles. Tonight I'll likely just use wheat noodles as that's all I have, but regardless, I know I will have very little in the way of leftovers. It's a hit every time I make it!
