pretty good twist on an all time favorite comfort food! Thanks for the recipe, I followed it completely - except I used cavatappi instead of rotelle.

Rich Italian Sausage and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2010
Fantastic, super easy, and loved by all who tasted it! I followed the recipe as written, but used 1 lb of the Hot (Spicy) Italian Sausage. Only regret is that I didn't double to recipe, it was gone quick! Thanks for sharing!

Cafeteria Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2010
Thanks for sharing this recipe. It was fantastic. I pretty much followed the recipe, except I added cooked bacon on the top and put in a little more cheese (maybe even a little too much). The hot pepper sauce is great, and if you like your food a little spicier then go ahead and add a little more!

Shredded Brussels Sprouts

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2010
Woohoo, finally a recipe that convinced me that Brussels Sprouts aren't evil! The Pine Nuts were worth the cost, but I might also try a different nut next time, based upon requests from my family. I didn't shred, I quartered. If you haven't enjoyed Brussels Sprouts in the past, but are ready to give them another try - check this recipe out!

Cod with Italian Crumb Topping

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2010
Was very happy with this recipe! Followed recipe almost to a T, but I didn't cut my fish into 3oz pieces - so it took just a bit longer to fully cook. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2010
Thanks for sharing this recipe Marsha! :) These are fantastic and I recommend that anyone who is "on the fence" about making these give it a try! Like many others, I made these without a bread machine (have one, but like to do it by hand). I have made these twice now and have read many other's tips/modifications. I follow the recipe as written, and I really encourage everyone to line the pan bottom with wax paper, double the frosting, and bake at 350 (i have tried 20 and 25 mins... 20 leaves them just a little under baked for me). I haven't noticed it in the reviews I have read, but if you are going to frost them in the pan you baked in, let them cool just a little while, cut them apart, and THEN frost. These disappear quickly! Enjoy!

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2010
WOW! This is a great recipe, thanks for sharing. I followed the instructions, and like other users agree that the 60-90 minute period in the refrigerator is big reason these come out so awesome. One recommendation, if you have an outdoor grill with a side burner, do the deep frying there. This way your house wont smell of used oil! I have made this a couple times now, and always do about 60 wing pieces, I never put more than 10 pieces into the oil at a time.

Korean Spicy Chicken and Potato (Tak Toritang)

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2010
Thanks for sharing this recipe! Fantastic, as written. (Non-Korean here, but love the cuisine). I used the gochujang, and it came out medium spicy, which was perfect for us. I was worried when the liquid didn't cover the contents of the pot, so I used about 1 1/4 cups of water (i used more chicken as well). Will probably not add as much water next time, but I was very satisfied with the result this time. Thanks again for sharing!

Lucky Pea Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2010
Followed recipe as written, came out tasty enough. Didn't seem quite as substantial as I was hoping for, so I threw in a can of kidney beans and improved it a bit. I might try it again sometime and add in some pork sausage or maybe ham hocks. Overall - good enough for me, and I would recommend giving it a try. Thanks for sharing Steffanie!

Wazzu Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2010
This was fantastic! I am a Coug Alum, and shared this Chili with a couple other Coug Alumni the other night, everyone enjoyed it and we had a good time talking about our days in Pullman! Thanks for sharing the recipe, my only advice is to wear gloves when handling the Habanero peppers! My hands were burning for a couple days, despite constant hand-washing!!! Go Cougs!

Buttery Corn Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2010
This is a great recipe, yielding a perfect corn bread flavor and at the right density. I followed the recipe exactly, and found that it required more like 40-45 mins in the oven. Thanks for sharing, this will be my go-to recipe for Corn Bread!

I was a bit nervous at first when the cookie dough was so dry after adding all ingredients (I admit - I triple checked the recipe!), but the cookies came out brilliantly! Thanks for sharing this recipe.

Chocolate Chip Dream Bars

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2010
FANTASTIC!!! I took the advice of other reviews and have used a slightly smaller pan (although will never go to 8x8!).. they came out thick enough for me and served them warm with some ice cream on top. Also skipped the glaze and instead just dropped a few milk choc chips on top to melt right out of oven. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Hamburger Soup I

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2010
This is pretty darn good! I added in two russet potatoes after reading the recipe. Will definitely make this again (with potatoes)! I didn't have plain diced tomatoes on hand, so used diced tomatoes with green chiles... was a little worried about the profile, but the chiles gave it a nice subtle kick. Also added some frozen peas. Thanks for sharing the recipe AKHowell!
