White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies III

I made these cookies last night and I think they were pretty good. I didn't have any problems with the cookies being flat, or the extract tasting too strong.

Classic Pumpkin Pie

I made this pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving and it was really good! I thought it had a great balance of spiciness and sweetness- not at all too much in either direction. I had the same problem as one of the other reviewers- in that it was not finished cooking in the amount of time listed in the recipe. It took about 20 extra minutes for the knife test to work. However, when it was done it was very good. I think the whipped cream needs a little bit more ginger.

American Shepherd's Pie

I made this for my husband and he thinks it is pretty good. I think the celery the recipe calls for is unecessary- there was plenty of celery in the soup. I think if I make it again I will go with the other people's suggestions of using frozen mixed vegetables and beef broth. I thought the thyme was perfect and I put even more than the recipe required and it wasn't too strong.

Chicken Supreme III

I just made this and it was really good! I changed it a little... I can't ever seem to follow directions completely. I sauteed the chicken in bite size pieces first, I used 2 cans of cream of chicken and mushroom soup, I added a can of mushrooms, I doubled the cheese and, finally I added a small bag of slivered almonds to the top. I also reduced the amount of butter. This is really really good!!! Also- there is so much of this left that I would say it serves at least 6!

Seafood Au Gratin

I was hesitant to make this after reading the first review- but I'm glad I did! I always order this dish in seafood restaurants and this recipe tastes even better than most I've ordered. I wouldn't change the sauce at all. My family loved it and I plan to make it often!
