No Fail Pie Crust I

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2010
Good recipe. I used it to make beef and vegetable pies once and also to make sausage rolls. Actually it is a perfect dough for sausage rolls. 1 recipe is enough for 1lbs of sausage meat.

Slow Cooker Spare Ribs

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2010
I made this recipe once, following it exactly. I expected to be a bit bland, but it turned out really nice. The meat was very tender and almost fell off the bone. Hubby and I liked it. We used the leftovers to make sandwiches the next day. Pussy cat licked the bones clean. Will make this one again.

Campbell's Kitchen Easy Chicken Pot Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2010
Blah! I personally didn't like this one. The biscuit crust was too dry and sweetish and the rest was too bland. I won't make it again. It might have been better using cream of mushroom soup rather than cream of chicken.

Well, it's my recipe, so I love it. But I am not alone. Hubby loves it too.

Baked Custard for Two

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2010
I made this last night. I doubled the quantities, replaced half the milk with sour cream and yogurt, and used artificial sweetener instead of sugar. It was nice, though slightly grainy. Will make it again because it was so easy to make.

Creamy Caramel Flan

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2010
I made this recipe once. I made it in 8 individual flan dishes. The taste and texture were fantastic. My man loved it, as did our guests. I'd give this recipe 5 stars if the caramel didn't stick to the flan dish. ***** Okay, I made this recipe one more time. This time I added water to the sugar to make my caramel. It was easier to control. The sugar syrup slowly boiled away and turned into a beautiful caramel. This time I also cooked the flans in a microwave.

Campbell's Kitchen Creamy Chicken Enchiladas

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2010
The recipe is really good and so easy to make. A definite hubster pleaser. I've made this twice. The first time I followed the recipe almost exactly. The second time I cooked this, I made some adjustments. I replaced some of the chicken with mushrooms and added half a diced red bell pepper. I also didn't put any cheese inside the enchiladas. I only sprinkled some grated cheese on top before baking. With this I managed to cut out a great amount of fat from the recipe. The taste was still great and we didn't feel overly full from eating it.
