Simple Scones

Created the orange/cranberry for my 1st time ever -- didn't even cut them out, just mounded them (made about 12), and they are moist, full of "scone" flavor -- awesome!

Chocolate Bar Fondue

This is it. I wanted a good chocolate fondue -- I won't make anything else now. I mixed milk chocolate and dark chocolate (Cadbury bars), and it was perfect. Thanks Sara for the ultimate fondue!

Caramel Apple Pork Chops

Wonderful autumn dish. I used thick boneless chops -- regular bone-in chops would go better, I think. Also, the apples are fabulous, but overall, they wound up being more glazed than in a sauce. It should be at least doubled to qualify as a sauce.A great recipe for fall!

Almost No Fat Banana Bread

What a wonderful bread! I, too, upped the applesauce to 1/2 cup and added vanilla and almond extracts. It's dense and flavorful, and will be the only banana bread I make from now on. Thanks for submitting, Allison!

Fresh Peach Cobbler I

I needed a topping for a cheesecake, and had peaches on hand -- the peach filling part of this recipe fit the bill perfectly. Easy, delicious, and exactly what I was looking for! Thank you!

This cake just doesn't have a great texture, or deep enough flavor. But ... easy recipe, with handy ingredients; would do in a pinch.

Asparagus Rolantina

My Italian mother and I loved it -- my Irish husband did not. The prosciutto and swiss are strong flavors to blend together. Also, blanch the asparagus well if you don't like it crisp (it doesn't cook much in the oven). We had it for a second course, but it would work as an appetizer on its own. Not as a side dish, though.
