Interesting and did make a moist turkey. Not sure what to think of the flavor, especially of gravy made from the broth. Might use dry wine next time. I also added 5-6 cloves fresh garlic (minced). But, overall, a fair recipe.

Upside Down Turkey

Cooking the turkey upside down does help keep the meat moist. I like to use a cooking bag too because it cooks faster and seems to retain more juice.

Apple Dumplings I

I think I am addicted to these and I have only just tried them! Delicious, rich and tasty treats. We didn't eat them with ice cream or whipped cream, but I imagine it would be heaven. They were very easy and will certainly become a regular around our kitchen (must go to gym to compensate)
