Shiny Chocolate Glaze
This stuff is very thin, it runs right of the cake and is about the same as oil. I did not like it and will never make it again, there's far too much butter in it, when you taste it you can not even taste the chocolate, only butter, and i used 1 an half ounces of chocolate. I did not care for the taste, and it's far too thin, i know its a glaze, and it do cover well but you can see the cake right through it. The only reason i made this in the first place is because it was liked to the Petit Fours page, and it's awful for them. I did not care for this recipe. I'm highly disappointed. I'm hoping I'll be able to save it by making a different one and pouring it on top of it, it really do not want to throw out the filled cake.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes
this recipe is amazing, the pancakes are so light and fluffy, they rise a fair bit and are just to die for. adding vanilla is great but not necessary. follow the recipe and the won't be any problems. they don't take long to do and you can get a good many decent size pancakes out of a batch. they're sweet and crisp up nicely, it taste similar to a vanilla cake mix, but not such a strong flavor. no more store bought mix for me, this is THE BEST!!! i don't know why everyone is complaining and whining. everyone's tastes are different, so that may be why you find it too salty also use proper measuring spoons, and level them off for a true measuring. use a spoon that you would mix you tea with would give you an inaccurate measurement and will alter the taste of the final product.
