Tomato Chicken Parmesan

EXCELLENT..it's sooo easy to make and I can probably make it a second time (which, I WILL) without looking at the recipe. It tastes absolutely fabulous my boyfriend kept thanking me for a delicious meal. If you don't like this recipe, you need to get your taste buds checked. My only recommendation is to pound the chicken breast so it's not so thick.

Spanish Flan

EXCELLENT recipe. I've tried so many other flan recipes and this one tops them all. I have already made it three times for potlucks and I keep getting asked for the recipe. I can't believe how easy and few ingredients it took to make. My boyfriend asked me to make one for a family dinner and another for himself!!!

Chicken Fried Chicken

This is a great fried chicken recipe. I used extra seasoning but next time I will use less salt. Only thing I would do different in preparation is to use a large size plastic zip loc bag. Great taste and very moist chicken. I would definitely make this again.

Baked Basil Fries

These fries have a great "crispy" texture to them so you feel like you are eating deep fried fries. I did sprinkle salt on them after baking because I love salt with my fries. I used two russet baking potatos I had on hand instead of the red ones and they turned out great. These fries would make a great complementary item to any type of burger, beef, turkey or even garden burgers. I would make this again.

Garlic Cheese Biscuits

Well, the bottoms of my biscuits keep burning before they are ready. Does anyone know why this happens? This recipe was good but I had higher expectations due to the rave revues. I am not sure I will try it again. I did put the garlic powder in the batter first.

Barley Bake

This recipe is basically fail proof. I didn't have as much pine nuts on hand as the recipe asked for but it still was very good. I would definitely use more pine nuts next time and I will use this recipe again.

Tzatziki VII

This was awesome. It is a bit time consuming but only because you have to let the yougurt drain for a few hours. After that is ready, it's easy and very tasty. The recipe asked for lemon juice but the directions said vinegar. I just used the lemon juice. I dipped pita bread into it as a snack or appetizer, it's great. My Middle Eastern friend's family eats this frequently and he said mine turned out great.

Better Than Sex Cake II

This was extremely good. My best friend's daughter, who does not like chocolate cake, tried it and loved it. Everyone said it was very rich and chocolatey but no one agreed it was better than sex. (Maybe better than sex by yourself)

Pepperoni Bread

This was very good. I could eat the whole loaf by myself if I wanted to. It was tricky actaully rolling the dough because the cheese would spill out to the sides but I will definitely make this again.

This was great!! I have gotten great compliments on this recipe. I have made it twice and the second time I didn't have enough white sugar so I subsituted for light brown sugar and it still turned out great. I will make this again.

Rose Petal Pound Cake

Excellent. I loved it. Great new taste. Very nice with tea. I would use a little more rose water because I think the taste was very subtle and I love the flavor combination with almond extract. Also the pink color was very light I may use a few more drops next time to really bring out the color. It's easy and very delicious and did not last long. I will certainly make this again.

Margarita Cake

I made it for a Cinco de Mayo party and most people liked it but it turned out too lemony. I used the lemon cake mix. We couldn't really taste the tequila in this recipe. I would probably use more tequila next time. It really just tasted like a lemon cake. The glaze was pretty good and overall the cake turned out very moist even the next day. It was okay but great.

Easy Guacamole

This was really really good. It didn't last at all even though I doubled the recipe. We were all full and could barely eat dinner. I added cilantro and hot peppers to give it a little twist and got a lot of compliments. I will definitely use this recipe again. Thanks for submitting.

This was easy to make and it was very delicious. I think it needed some more flavoring, I was afraid to use the whole amount of salt due to other reviews but it could have used a little more flavor. Left overs were the best.

Although I enjoyed preparing this recipe I really think it lacked some flavor. Something is missing. It did say to add spices, but which ones?? The red pepper flakes made it spicey but something is missing. I'll try another recipe.

Fruit Pizza with White Chocolate

This was ABSOLUTELY AWESOME. I highly recommend to use fresh fruit, not canned. I bought the pinneapple already cut in it's own juice and though it may be a bit more expensive, it's definitley worth it. Also, I used Ghiradelli white chocolate chips and it was wonderful. The only problem I had was with the glaze it wasn't as thick as I thought it could have been so I only used a little bit because I didn't want the crust to be soggy. I would definitely use this one again.

Curry Pumpkin Soup

FABULOUS.. I can't believe I made something so great tasting and easy to prepare. I used chicken broth instead of vegetable and I used heavy whipping cream instead of half and half. The way to give it a kick in flavor is either to add more curry or just more salt. I also put in a little more sugar and it really tasted fantastic and I will definitely make this again....it's an awesome "comfort" food on a cold fall afternoon.

Curried Lentil Soup

This was really really good. It's a perfect blend of ethnic spices that warms the stomach on a cold afternoon. I think it would be better if it had a creamier, thicker texture as it was on the brothy side. I cooked white rice and put it in after the soup was ready and again, the taste is great. I will make this again.

Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas

I rarely give anything a five star but overall this was fabulous. It was so hearty and delicious. I let my boyfriend have some and he loved it and asked to take some left overs with him. (which he rarely does) This one is a keeper. I love cilantro so the cilantro cream sauce was awesome. I will make this again. For a complete meal goes excellent with Spanish Flan for dessert on this Web site.
