Creamy Chicken

Reviewed: May 30, 2012
I took the suggestion of a few other reviewers and added about half a bag of frozen peas and carrots when I added my cream of soup mixture. I also used two cans of cream of soup, one mushroom and one chicken. Served over egg noodles, this was delicious. My guy ate it right up!

Easy Spicy Chicken and Rice

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2011
I made this last night and both my boyfriend and I really liked it. I took the suggestions of a few reviewers, and added a little bit of chicken broth as well as a can of drained black beans. I used the diced tomatoes with jalepenos and added some taco seasoning, instead of salt and pepper. It was plenty spicy. About 25 minutes into cooking, I stirred it up a little, just to make sure all of the rice was getting enough liquid and added a dash more of chicken broth. The chicken was very tender, and the rice was a little mushy, but that's how I like it. I will make this again.

Cheddar Bacon Hamburgers

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2011
These were great. I added an egg, but that's just because I'm used to doing that when making burgers. Other than that, I pretty much followed it to a tee. I think I may have added a little too much bacon, but hey... everyone loves bacon!

Tuna Noodle Casserole III

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2011
This was very good. I used two cans of soup, and shredded cheese, since that's what I had on hand. I also added some cayenne pepper and paprika, too. Just for a little kick. Thanks for the recipe!

Baked Buffalo Wings

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2011
These were great! I made them last night for the AFC title game, and they were a big hit. I used the whole wingette, (drummie and wing connected). It was easier to just pull apart later. I floured them, and put them in the fridge for two hours. I then baked them for 30 min. at 425 without the sauce. Then put the sauce on them for 15 min. Flipped, then sauced the other side. They came out crispy and tasty. I'd probably up the spiciness next time, but we had a little sauce left over, so I just drizzled that over the finished wings. Thanks so much!

Slow Cooker Chicken Cordon Bleu

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2010
We loved this. I followed the advice of a few reviewers and I just drizzled chicken stock over the the stuffing on top of the chicken. It cut back on the butter and it made the chicken SO moist. Also, I cut slits in the chicken and stuffed in two slices of ham and swiss cheese, then also topped with a slice of each, then the stuffing. My boyfriend LOVED it...and he loves Cordon Bleu. I ended up cooking it for about 5 hours on low, and the chicken was very tender, almost falling apart. But we loved it!

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2010
This was great. I made this for the boyfriend and I. We are still enjoying the leftovers. I took the advice of another reviewer and added a can of black beans. But other than that, I followed the recipe exactly. I may have put in a pinch more of chili powder, but I like it a little spicy. I don't know if it even needed that, it was plenty spicy for me. I put in chicken breast raw into the slow cooker and just shredded them right before serving. So easy. Thanks for the recipe.

Peppered Shrimp Alfredo

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2010
This was very good. It was a little creamier and heavier than I expected, but it was still very good. I liked the spice a lot, so I upped that just a little bit.

Garlic Cheese Chicken Rollups

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2010
I thought this was very good. I bought the already thin chicken cutlets, to save some time. I followed the directions pretty much to a T. Only thing I did differently was that I added some parmesan on top of each chicken bundle right before cooking. I made these with the Parmesan Asparagus from this website too. Very good meal! Thanks!

Parmesan Asparagus

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2010
This was excellent. I took the tips from a few other reviewers. I had an asparagus bunch. After I trimmed the spears up, I put them in a bag with olive oil, minced garlic, parmesan cheese, salt and some lemon juice. I let it sit and marinate for a little bit, and then placed it on a cookie sheet and baked it. My boyfriend loved it. Thanks so much!
