Penne Pasta with Spinach and Bacon

Delicious! I used a jar of sundried tomatoes (drained, rinsed, and chopped) in place of the regular tomatoes and it was so yummy. I also wilted my spinach in the pan and not in the colander. Thanks for the recipe!

Blueberry Sauce

Absolutely delicious. I forgot to add the vanilla and the cinnamon at the end but it wasn't missed. It's definitely tastier after a day of letting the flavors meld together

Cheesecake Cookie Cups

I've always done a no bake cheesecake so this was interesting. Turned out great! I omitted the cherries and added a piped dollop of homemade whipping cream instead. Next time I will experiment and try a sugar cookie base with mixed in graham crackers and a pumpkin cheesecake top.

Triple Fudge Brownies

I followed this recipe exactly and these are not fudgy nor should they be called brownies. They were lacking flavor and were definitely more like cake. I will not be making these again

Texas Chicken Quesadillas

We LOVED this. It kind of reminded us of BBQ Chicken pizza. We omitted the onions, used a hot and spicy bbq sauce, and added some hot and spicy cheese to the cheddar. We also mixed some cooked and crumbled real bacon into the chicken mixture. We cooked a breast half per quesadilla. Will do this again.

Slow Cooker London Broil

I wasn't that impressed. I guess my tastebuds just didn't care for this. It's probably because I prefer my slow cooker meat to be a little tangy and this reminded me more of beef stew. My husband raved about it though! He absolutely loved it

The bar cake turned out very well but even in a tupperware it became very hard very fast. It only took a few days for it to lose the softness.

St. Louis Toasted Ravioli

Definitely the best way we have had ravioli. Before this recipe we had never even heard of toasted ravioli. I let the ravioli thaw a little just so it wasn't too frozen, then breaded it and put it on a tray in the freezer for about 10.

Could have been better. I baked this in a silicone Kitchen Aid baking dish and it still came out too chewy in some areas and too moist in others.

The Best Meatballs

Not bad. They tasted like they needed more seasoning although I couldn't quite figure out which one. Also, I baked the meatballs instead of frying them in a pan. I also added some grated parmesan.

Bean Burrito Casserole

I didn't think cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup sounded very good (we like things a little spicy here), so I used Campbell's Southwest Style Peppar Jack Cheese soup instead. Also added more cheese (of course)! this was delicious and a quick turn on regular frozen burritos

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cake Cookies

I added chocolate chips and peanut butter chips to the recipe. It was fantastic. DH and I experimented with the baking time. We started at 11 min and increased each tray by a min up to 13 minutes. I found the perfect time to be about 12 to 12 and a half minutes.
