I'm not a huge fan of cake, but I love this one, particularly when used in the 'Fresh Strawberry Upside Down Cake' from this site. This cake is very moist and much better than boxed. I followed the recipe other than not sifting the flour (don't have a sifter) and I used the entire egg. I used all-purpose flour because that's all I had available. I was careful to add eggs one at a time and alternate flour with milk when mixing. I think this may be an important step, as suggested by other reviewers.
